29.10.10-The ripe fruit

I decided to skip yoga this morning because I have been exercising hard all week. I did however carry out a long and deep meditation which I closed with some hypnotic suggestions. Amongst other things, I instructed my subconscious that I should be very productive and excited about all the work I had to do today. Indeed I have not felt so motivated for a day of work in a long time!

Fall brought us a beautiful day- a crisp, clear blue sky bathed in pristine sunshine that turned the parks and patches of trees into kaleidoscopes of red, orange, yellow and green hovering over dense carpets of rust and brown. I took my daughter to the park in the evening and watched wispy cloud filaments and condensation trails like long thin shafts tipped by sparkling arrow heads turn pink against the pale sky.

The translucence of the sky was reflected in the clarity of my mind. Today I felt centered and more consistently Lucid than ever before. There is a certain effortlessness to being in this state. Its like playing the violin- I can’t try to play well, I just have to let it happen. Of course there is a great deal of work to be done in order to get to that point, but when it happens, it has to be like brushing my teeth or walking down the street. Without any thoughts about whether I am doing it right or whether I could be doing it better, the ripe fruit simply falls off the branch. Life feels right this way.

Goodnight,

Kikta
